Leave the car behind and walk to the beach or to the village for fresh oysters, seafood, drinks, live music, ice cream or even fresh donuts. If you prefer, relax in the tropical garden right on the property. The back garden has space for casual dining and is also westerly facing. You can get fresh fish at the Village Market one block away or catch your own right in front of the house. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen and a grilling area downstairs. This property comes with a fully accessible owner/host “me”, reliable advice from local experts. Free early check-in, whenever possible! Never hidden fees or solicitations of any kind. No paper contracts and easy booking. Five days before arrival I’ll email instructions including your door-code address and guidebook. One day prior to arrival I’ll send you a “Reminder” email with all the same information. It is the only rental offering of its kind on the key.
Amenities - Paddle boards kayaks and bicycles provided free of charge, but subject to availability. Because of shipping delays, if a group prior to arrival loses items we may have a restocking delay. Anything we are missing can be rented nearby.
History - Casa Van Lopik (Canal) was named for my father who was a ships captain and sailed the world for 30 years but always insisted Siesta Keys beaches were most beautiful.
Bear Gear - Correction for Air-b-n-b listings. We provide beach towels and beach chairs at every location, umbrellas and carts at most locations, and do not provide "snorkeling gear" at any locations. Sorry for the confusion. Snorkeling gear can be rented or purchased nearby.
Support Post Booking - I understand vacation time is precious and I will make sure you get the most out of it. My number is the only contact information you need. My units are at the top attractions on the island. Cars are never required, but you will have private parking near the unit. Check-in any day of the week at any time using your private door-code. Events - Many of our properties are wonderful locations for gatherings. Gatherings involving third party vendors or visitors outside your occupancy limit "might" be permitted, but only with prior authorization. Event fees will apply including location fees of between $1000 and $3000 and guest fees of $19 per person in excess of your occupancy limit.
Terms - Payments are 50% refundable when canceled at least 60 days before arrival. Payments are not refundable when canceled less than 60 days before arrival. Events or gatherings involving outside guests are only allowed with prior approval from the management. Guest agrees to hold the Property Manager and Owner harmless from any liability for injuries while on vacation. *If you prefer insured bookings, we recommend providers Generali and Rental Guardian for Trip-Protection coverage.
