Q. What is required to reserve? A. Your dates can be reserved now with a 25% deposit by Visa, Mastercard, Discover or Amex. You can book now using gertruderentals.com or call me at 941-362-0105.
Q. Can we host corporate retreats and weddings at your properties? A. We welcome events with outside vendors or a guest list in excess of your properties stated occupancy with the payment event fees.
Q. What time is check-in and check-out? A. Check-in time is 2 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. for all properties on Siesta Key, Vermont and Spring Lake. Whenever possible, we allow early check-in and late check-out at no additional charge, but this must be approved by us no earlier than one day in advance of your departure. If you have questions about extending your stay, please contact us by email or phone. If we can accommodate you, we gladly will!
Q. Can I bring pets? A. We love your pets! Pets are welcome in all but our properties except Spring Lake with an additonal pet fee of between $100 to $350 per pet, depending on the property. Please inform us that you would like to bring along your furry friend in advance of your stay so we can make the necessary arrangements. Please note that pets must be secured by leash at all times outside the property. Guests are strictly liable for all damages caused by pets at all times.
Q. How many people can you accommodate? A. Gertrude Rentals offers a variety of properties of various sizes and amenities to suit the individual needs of our guests. Our accommodations range from one room studio apartments to an entire inn. We can accommodate 46 at our Siesta Key Village properties, 32 at our Crescent Beach property, 10 in Spring Lake, and 21 or more in Vermont. Call us and we will help you find the perfect fit!
Q. Other than the basic rate, what other fees will I be charged? A. Additional fees include standard occupancy tax and cleaning. If you are travelling with a pet there is a pet fee. And if you are hosting an event with outside vendors or a guest list in excess of your properties stated occupancy, event fees will apply. Any of the extras we provide upon request will be free of charge. Pack-and-plays and high chairs are available are available at all our properties, beach tolls and beach chairs at all our beach properties, and bikes surfboards beach toys and paddle boards are at all our Spring Lake properties.
Q. Is there anyone I contact in case I need maintenance? A. We pride ourselves on providing personal, boutique-style service. Our standard hours are 7am to 7pm, and we are available after hours until bedtime. Five days prior to arrival you’ll receive a guidebook with instructions and contact information.
Q. Is parking included? A. Each property includes parking for at least one car. The number of spaces depends on the size of your rental. Please inquire further if you require more details.
Q. What is your cancellation policy? A. The cancellation policy for rental properties is rather strict in comparison to hotels. Each property is unique in location, decor and amenities. A 25% deposit is required to reserve your dates. This deposit is refundable if and only if we can re-rent your cancelled dates and then the refund is subject a $100 rebooking fee.
